i was going to snatch it up, but had second thoughts -- i've been trying to get myself to just build any new rods from now on. i liked the old certified pros better, they had the nice high framed hardloy guides rather than the somewhat fragile alconites. now, if that was an EC83MTC, i'd fight for it.

i wouldn't mind having an 8'3" stick, but if i'm going to go short, i want to go really short, like 7'6" for those really tight quarters areas.
