The real question is whether or not the combined win total of the Cougs and Huskies will equal ASU's win total this year. My guess is NO.

Huskies 45 ASU 17. Jake Locker with a better D trounces ASU in the pound!!

We could add up Rose Bowl wins for UW/WSU vs. ASU.......the only REAL measuring stick for Pac-10 teams.

We could even subtract WSU's RB wins from UW's, and STILL ASU is so fargin' far behind they'll likely never catch up.

Like I've been saying all along.......it's better to be a has-been than a never-was.

I'm not exactly sure how to go about clowning on SC, being a UW fan. I guess it must be kinda like when WSU and ASU fans try to clown on UW.

Just stirring the pot - I don't have total love for USC. I do like how college football has remained a team sport with very few "personalities" rearing their heads.

As far as UW vs USC, it will be a while, if ever, before UW can attract the talent pool that USC gets handed to them. USC is about as close to a farm team for the NFL as you can get - that's tough for any school to compete with.

Yeah, and the weather and cheesecake-in-a-bikini girls wandering all over campus doesn't hurt SC when they're recruiting, either.

UW never got the athletes SC does, but once upon a time, we were able to compete with them anyway. But that seems like a loooooong time ago.
