Dragging a chain anchor, a bag of rocks, or an inner tube full of rocks is a great way to destroy spawning habitat, or worse, the eggs that are already deposited on the river bottom...

On another note I taked to a chap who had 1 on his Super Puma, word was it worked well for regular anchoring duties with what he stated was a smaller chance of getting it wedged into the river rock...... c/22

OK duly noted..how bout say the lower skagit?..which is a sandy bottom..and generally considered the lower river where little or not spawning takes place... drifting the river could be accepted?..or not as harmful?..feedback is appreciated.
