Tough to lose a good hunting dog. I put mine down last summer for the same reason (couldn't get up) and I'm just warming to the idea of a replacement. Focus on the good times.

Sorry to hear of your losses guys, its never easy and it sucks they have such short lives. Maybe that is why they show such unconditional love. Miss my buds every day even though I have two others. Remember the great days .. .. . .
