This is what I figured would happen all along. Actually, they paid $20 more than I thought they would.

where the he_ _ are PETA, Humane Society, Friends of the Animals and so on when these groups are really needed.

and why aren't the TV news media jumping all over this one!!!!!!!!

Maybe what's needed here is so old fashioned late 1800's western justice, to bring around the common good.

Wow, this is just insane... I am not one to bash the native folk but that is just unjust.

B-Run Steely don't forget the 40oz. in the paper bag. LOL

blue water pro, if your having trouble understanding what is unjust, why don't you and a few buddies go kill a whale tomorrow and see how that goes for you, pretty sure we won't be hearing from you for a few years, unless of course, your Makah!

So are you telling me, they killed the whale without a permit.... and the feds said hey plead guilty and there you go. And then the tribe said we will try you guys, and they get a 20 dollar fine. If that is how it went down then yea that is unjust.
To knowingly go after a creature like that is one thing, if I was sober, went and hunted a whale and killed a whale then I would expect to be sitting in a federal prison for at least a year. That is just my opinion, same thing with a bald eagle or any other species of that nature. Same thing for those who whack endangered parrots, or whatever it may be in whatever nation.
Pleading guilty does not mean a thing if their is no consequence.

Yep, just read the story.... unjust. And just because i don't see killing a whale as right means I am a peta supporter? That is really weird, because they have no correlation. In fact, some chick changing her name to fishing hurts is about as relevant to this story as pam andersons rack. Out.

Its a joke alright. Whats the difference in between a treaty right to fish for ESA listed salmon and steelhead and the right to kill an ESA listed whale. The Feds keep changing the rules.

I seen that the feds are charging them. The feds said if you plead guilty the tribe will not try you. The tribe decided to try them anyway...as an example. The two who didn't plead guilty are being charged by the feds but are likely to get no jail time..... or so the story says. I didn't say I couldn't write or understand it. I understand the story just fine.

O.K..

So I looked up the chick who changed her name to " Fishing hurts "

Mostly because I needed to know if she was hot. I'm envisioning braided arm pit hair, and a dank odor. Like one of the comments below the video " I'm gonna eat twice as many fish now ".. I would do a three some with the two news ladies however.
