How heavy is it? Can one guy lift it into the back of a long-bed pickup truck? Do you have that little wheel to roll it to the water? Does it come with a pump to inflate it? When you say "gray pontoons" you must mean that that isn't your actual boat in the pics? Does your's have the Cataract oars?
So many questions I know... but 1400 bones is a lot to drop on a 1-man cat.

... but 1400 bones is a lot to drop on a 1-man cat. Not for a 10 foot Steelheader Guide Model, it's not...more details would be nice, but if I was in the market for a one man boat, I'd snap this one up. Fish on... Todd

I don't have any pics of it, but if you'd like I could take some. It has two pumps both the foot pump and the K-pump that come with it, the oars are the 7.5, 2 piece cataract mini mags, it's practically new and like I said it's never even seen white water. I'm able to lift it and place on the top of my expedition and then back off into the water at a launch, but it's nothing you want to have to hike down a trail with. The tubes are 24' allowing you to float high in the water, stand on it, keeping you dry and making it easy to row with excellent handling capabilities. Thanks Todd, $1400 is not alot to drop on this model, they retail for close to $2000. The Steelheader closely compares to the Outcast PAC1100FS which retails for $1950 without some of the assecories. If your looking for something cheap, go buy a fish cat, but be careful, is your life worth it? Here is the link to the Skookum Web page.

So far as ten foot one man models go, this is flatout the best one out there...which is why mine is the 12 foot two man model of the same boat The ten footer is rated for something like 800 pounds and Class V...neither of which any sane man will ever encounter on a river! It's not a light boat that you chug on down the trail with, though...not by any means...it's a heavy duty drift boat replacement for fishing in places where drifters can't, or won't go. I think that the best thing about it is that you can stand up and fish in it, which is rare for a one man boat... I looked into getting that exact same boat before realizing that I'd rather have a two man boat and take a buddy with me... mine works as a one man boat, too, but I have the option for two... Fish on... Todd

Great boats. Sold my 10' a few seasons back to save for a new saltwater salmon boat. I really miss that boat now.
My wife however does not miss the shuttling aspect of a 1 man raft logistics.
" Oh Mrs. Chauffeur where are you? I'm already at the take out launch, Could you hurry up"?
But if you got a good fishing partner who loves to fish as much as you -tell him to get one also, make sure he's got a truck or flatbed trailer also and you're golden...
