I'll admit your right, thats the plan actually. Trying to have fun and be sober, when you used to drink so much is really interesting if you figure out how to do it. I got some great plans for outdoor related pranks, so that should really stir the pot or make some people laugh.... I guess it just depends on the person. Most people are bothered by something, so I am sure someone will always have an issue with our content.

All in all though, the fishing should focus around the sierra nevadas for awhile with some washington bits. But come spring 2009 it will all be washington, I would like to have it from 50 to 75% fishing vid with multiple angles but that just depends on the others involved. SHould really turn out great but i doubt it will ever be a traditional fishing video. Nothing against though guys, it is just I like to do things different. Someone probably figured that out by now though.

First off, I like the music. I am sorry it isn't Travis Tritt or whoever it is you got playing in your tapedeck. Second off, I like the video so why would I care what you have to say. It is supposed to appeal to those, like me. Which obviously isn't you.

Simply put, it appeals to me and my friends. Obviously, they are not on this site because they spend more time in the real world right now. Maybe, when they get a little older they will chill out here. It is kind of funny, how there isn't any younger guys on this page. No, offense guys and i might be wrong.... but the age range seems to be 40 to 60. With a few in the 35 range, I definitely mean no offense guys, i know some people get all offended about younger guys talking about their age. And that is not what i am trying to do. I respect older guys, as long as they do it back. So if you are going to bitch about that comment then save it.
But, in other words I am facing a definite generation gap. And when I am not facing a generation gap.... I am facing a culture gap. If you do not like the Transplants then that is fine, if you do not drink then that is fine. If you don't like my video then that is fine. Some of you guys really got to face it though, not all of us listen to 60 to 80's rock and rock tight jeans. Some of us, grew up with different influences and still like the same sport that you do. Imagine that, he doesn't like country and doesn't own a ford and he likes to fish. That is really weird I know.

I'll give you a real review.

The fishing footage was sh!t, and there was very little of it.

The drunken ruckus would have been maybe okay, but only in much, much smaller amounts. I actually think that videos with off-topic ruckus (lots of surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding etc) are fine, but don't show the alcohol. Make the viewer at least think "Are these guys really that dumb, or are they on something." That stuff needs to have short sections though. I would say most of the people here have acted like drunken morons before, and may even have videos of it. The problem is those videos are usually only funny to the people who made them or are in them.

Save the video, you might be able to use it at one of you or your buddies interventions.

Dudes night in...that's what sucks about your video. I think I said that the last time.

Not a good video for you future employers to download, lots of people have been burned that way and find no one will hire them.

I am 27 almost 28, and still do some of the stuff you guys are up to. Although I have to agree with Rocket Red on this, a bit. The drunken scenes should probably be a bit shorter. Like maybe a third. And the fishing scenes need to be shot with a better camera. All digitized and very hard to see anything. Maybe have someone that is not trying to fight the fish do the filming. Or someone that is less drunk.

There are fishing shows and then there is jackass. Never try to mix the two. Two fish and a party, yeeha. You did not show close ups of the fish and show there beauty. You did not show how good/bad you were at fish handling/releasing technique. You were promoting drinking and driving by sitting in a vehicle with a beer can in your hand (not good at all).

What the hell does that have to do with Shtt? He said he does some of the same shtt, as is in the video and we are a year different or two. Acting 18 is going to high school, when I was 18 thats what I did. I am not saying drinking is the responsible thing to do.... it is just when I was hanging with my friends that day. I drank. I know there could have been more fishing in it, definitely but as I said in my first post on this thread.... it is what it is. Yea, I appreciate constructive criticism, and by throwing the ford, travis tritt, old guy thing out there.... I expected to have a public execution. I have figured more out about the community by this thread though. More or less, the traditional fishermen isn't going to dig on my videos if they remain how they are. I suppose, I will just shoot for more balance and if people like it, then great. If not, then that is fine with me. I just have been really aggressive lately on forums after an incident on a different forum. More or less, criticism is fine..... I enjoy someone telling me what I should change. But, blatant trash talking is bound to get some back. I can understand the "Hey, I don't really like your video........ and here is why." The guys that I don't understand are the ones that are like...." Your video sucks!" Those guys really contributed to something, when in fact all they did was try and hurt someones feelings and release their anger because for some odd reason they are angry dudes. Enough of the bs though.

Funny thing though, I only shot parts of the intro in this video, other than that I just got some of our archived footage together and mixed in around and down, slapped some effects and titles, and credits into it. Other than the intro, I was most proud of the last seen.... which could have been shortened by half.... I just liked the way the credits rolled out the way they did. And of course the very end with the "oooooohhhhhh, eff ya!" and the fireworks.... just kind of sums up the whole thing.

No, you posted a pretty lame video and those of us in the cheap seats called it like we saw it. There are a couple good scenes. Like the one where the dog on the can is barking at the camera... Now that was quality. And the one where you're spoon fishing and we get a minute worth of looking at the rocks and your feet. That's was pretty cool too.

You want funny.....? Try placing a thin slice of Jalapeno on your buddies lip while he's passed out instead of shaving cream.

A scene where a fisherman gets attacked by a guy in a sasquatch outfit.
Saving up a months worth of roadkill and placing it on your buddies lawn.
And my favorite where you throw a rope with a cinder block at each end into a famous snagger hole.

If that's the barometer for funny then I'm a pretty much humorless.

1) Buy a camera with an image stabilizer.
2) Stop filming rocks.
3) The barking red dog can isn't funny after the first 3 seconds.
