Headed East this weekend to stay at Banks Lake, but I was hoping to hit Lenore. Anyone fished it lately? Just curious as to what is going on with the Lahotians.

Thanks.

Fishing should be decent...if you don't get blown off the water.

Thanks DavidD. Hopefully the wind will be kind as I will be rowing my drift boat.

I got stuck the far side of that pond in a float tube, alone, and afternoon wind picked up. Thought I was going to die that day.

Friday was big time wind, but Saturday it was flat as a pancake and the Lahotians were more then eager to bite.

I worked, well not exactly worked but did run the boat a few times, on the study to see if the Lahotans would survive in Lake Lenore. It was interesting to learn about these critters from the fishheads.
If you like spiny rays, walk across the road to Alkali Lake for crappie and bluegill. Tasty.

I did that fishery twice. The first time was Memorial Day (around 1996). Good times with about 2 dozen caught out of my canoe. Big fish! This was in the south end of the lake.
The second time was spawning time and we still fished up at the north end...less exciting but still big fish and prettier colors.
Any pics Mike?
