all i can say is this. this thread is starting to smell like a blue creek cemant outhouse. which by the way doesn't bother brewer. any outhouse in a hatchery parking lot is fine by me...

To all the experts. You worry about introducing a hatchery strain anadromous fish but the bigger issue would seem to be erradicating the non-native species like smallmout/walleye/etc. That's not going to happen so then what?

I'd worry more about getting laid, if I were you. My experience is merely second hand recountings, probably from some people you know.

A doorknob? Wow, that's gotta' hurt. How do you think up stuff like that.

Unless it's from personal experience. Yes, do get laid. I don't know anything about the doorknob alternative, but I definitely know that getting laid is better. As angling writer Haig-Brown once wrote of his job as provincial magistrate, "most of society's problems seem to stem from alcohol and sex; too much of the former and too little of the latter, and both of indifferent quality."

Meanwhile on the Yakima re-introduction front, there is legitimate reason for concern about stocking way out of basin fish that could potentially adversely affect the existing ESA listed steelhead. The current work appears to be limited to smallish numbers of fish in order to test juvenile fish passage systems. The likely adverse affect on native steelhead is pretty low. If later introductions occur, but are in lakes and tributaries upstream of those lakes that presently don't have passage, again the probably adverse effects on native steelhead are likely to be pretty damn low.

on another BB "carpheader.net" there was a post on the poor returns of native grass carp to the prosser area spawning beds. the thread stated that sping chinook returning were disrupting the native carps. so yes there seems to be concerns.

Brewer, I think that's zipper info and you should NOT be posting that over here. Now you'll be getting vandalism threats to your Rush collection.

I'm really going to regret getting publicly "spanked" by Brewer again but..."any outhouse in a hatchery parking lot is fine by me..." Perfectly stated.

Good thing I didn't go "off topic"...

RVR, brewer has decided to end my long long staunch stand against RVR FISHER products. sometimes a consumer has to take a stand by nolonger buying a product. this is the most powerfull tool we the consumer has. so i'm nolonger boycotting your end of the buissness. as for reverend todd's side, he'll feel the pinch. he needs to make a apology for referring to brewer and MagicFly as "Jerry's kids"

Brewer, when did referring to ones self in the third person become normal? This thread is rife with "brewer dont mind this...brewer dont like that...brewer thinks" confusingly its you brewer talking about how brewer rolls.

I'm not saying that great grammar is a requirement but its hard to even pretend to understand what your is saying when you talk about yourself in the 3rd person. let the history books that, stick with the present tense in the 1st person (i.e. I dont like chum [good] vs. dbl spey dont like chum [not so good]) and we'll all have a easier time following you. Good luck.

Don't ever talk about yourself in the 3rd person.

It is kind of like Gollum in LOrd of the Rings.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gollum
Unlike other characters, Gollum speaks in an unusual manner: For example, he uses "we" instead of "I", and "us" instead of "me". He also uses his own versions of words, similar to the original words. For instance, he would say "tricksy" in lieu of tricky, "hobbitses" instead of hobbits, "birdses" instead of birds, "orcses" instead of orcs, etc.

its also like i don't really care how annoying it is. its all part of the persona of being a enternet celebrity. or a celeb on any level. would you ask larry the cable guy to quit the redneck act? or say to larry, hey that "getrdone" thing you constantly say, well its anoying. so could you please don't? by doing so you would just look very ignorant. plus your off topic too. so lets get back....

brewer feels that todd should be taking it in pocket book by now.

Brewer, you certainly aren't a celebrity. Your comparison wasn't even relevant to any of the matters at hand, either. Funny you should say to get back on topic when it was you who turned the entire thread off topic to begin with.

The whole "act" needs to go. You make yourself look like a tool and far more "ignorant" than any other person that's written in this thread.

As for your stance on reintroduction, there are things the Yakimas can do that are substantially better for everyone and everything and I will say this certainly isn't one of them.
