That sucks, I have been fortunate enough to be on the rail assisting and wiring large billfish, sharks, and tuna, and it can be very dangerous. As the saying goes " It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt". Thanks for the link. -TBJ

good post Doc very interesting amazing power mother nature has.

I was flipping thru some classic JAWS clips, then started clicking on other clips about sharks (see the other thread with the John West commercial) and came across one where sharks had eaten a grander black marlin... all the boat got was the head and pectoral fins

From there I clicked on some clips about marlin fishing, and that's where I ran into the clip about the lady's "life-saving" breast implant.

U-Tube is a funny site... its kind of like having a conversation with a psychotic or mentally ill patient. You never know where it will take you or what you will find once you get there.

ouch...makes me not want to fish for marlin so much on my next trip...my boobs are my only asset....hahhaha...c

This is the short story. I saw this on TV when it came out. They said that the bill fish penetrated her lung and the implant held it sealed. Also she had to spend a night in an unsanitary prison on an island while he went for help. This was the only option they had for help. It was quite a story.
