whats the 3 step method?

been tough for silvers. With the poor conditions in the S. Sound this winter and very few resis around I dont have a ton of hope for that fishery this year.

ahh, 3 step method. according to mreyns post on "how to clean a horse clam" step 1; smash step 2; put in crab pot step 3; eat crab. simple yet effective.

Fished the tide change mid-day yesterday and C&R an approx. 15-17lb native king. Had downriggers out on both sides, but she took a cut plug under a 6oz. banana weight during mid-day! Unexpected.

It was our only strike when fishing the tide change.

Fished Jeff Head on Friday. Started at 5:30am, had 5 keeper coho in the boat by 7:00am. Slowed down for a couple of hours, then hit 3 quick keepers and we were done. 6 of the coho were 4.5+ lbs with the biggest being 5.3lbs, the final 2 were just under 4 lbs.

Fished Saturday......what a difference. Fished 4 hour mid day trip, hooked 4 landed 0.

Sunday was good in the morning, 6 fish for 3 guys.

We fished light green spatter back hootchies 20" behind a size 1 dodger.

Trolled fast.....3.5 to 4.0 mph
