My son brought home a movie called " Super High Me ".. It was about some comedian guy who smoked weed all the time and was doing a play on the "Super Size Me " where the guy ate McDonald's thing every meal for 30 days.. In this case, he stopped smoking weed for 30 days and did a bunch of tests, then he smoked the hell out of some weed for 30 days and did the same tests over.. In short, it was the stupidest movie I have ever seen.. But thats off topic.

During this film it talked about the medical weed situation in California and the problem stuck out like a sore thumb. So its O.K to get medical pot, everyone was O.K with that. But naturally, the pot heads start opening up head shops with names like " The 4:20 Club " and do the whole Dank bud for stoners marketing thing.. 40 kinds of buds and bongs galore .. on and on. This pisses the Feds off. So in reality, the people who actually need the weed get screwed by the other 98 % of the population who does not. One guy started the " Church of 4:20 " so the could use religion as an angle. The started with something like 10 outlets for medical weed and in a year there were something like 300 of them in L.A alone. If the people who needed weed could keep the people who just want it the hell out of it everything would be fine.

Or, the gov would pull its head out, take over the whole thing, legalize it and tax it and it would be a win win for everybody.. cheaper as well

You folks need to consider that, while in your experience use of MJ was all recreational and for fun, for medical users it is often a matter of life itself, or having some quality of life while they die.

BTW, a cancer patient can easily go through 24 oz of quality bud in 2 months.

What we are fighting here is for our RIGHT to have a medicine that helps us, and that helps those terminal patients. While people joke about being stoned here and there (yep, we all have memories) there are very sick people in jail because they FOLLOWED THE LAW. That's right, they FOLLOWED the laws! If the police won't enforce the laws of the state...then as a society we have some serious issues!

I'm sure we all have a few "Spicoli" tales to tell, but fact is this isn't about that, it's about making sure the State OF Washington follows the will of the people and stops using sick people as political barganing chips!
