I have been fishing now for over a month with some great results. Although most of the Mat-SU valley has had slow returns we have had a great king season and with only a few days to go we should make it through with fish every day no problem. I have a fe pics from the last few days I though i would share with you guys and with a little break in sight i will try and get a few more up....

Thanks for sharing the pics. Sounds like the rest of the system beyond the Deshka is doing fairly well.

Not a diss, just a suggestion...

These types of "fish in the water" pics are WAY more effective when the fish is still alive. The dead as a doornail miotic stare and the fishbox watermark does that fish NO justice.

I had a guy insist on taking one of those posed "fish in the water" shots... it looked horribly disingenuous with a ripped gill arch hanging outside the operculum!

Thanks for the tip... YA I was looking for a decent pic of this fish but they were all taken on the clients camera. Big fish though for the small streams we have up here.
