A bunch of people defending one of two goats.......and they ARE goats, both of them.........when they should be demanding better candidates from both sides.

But instead, we ignore how lame "our" candidate is, attack the "other" candidate and anyone who supports them, and then wonder why we get stuck with two pieces of sh!t every election.

F'n pathetic.

I'm about to line up with Andy and vote for Ron Paul.

If you want to know why we are stuck with goats, read "The Associates: Four Capitalists Who Created California" by Richard Rayner. The title is misleading because what they really accomplished was the submission of our government to corporate money. Our "choices" are predetermined for us by corporate money and actually reflect competing/warring business individuals.

And no, this is not a tin foil hat conspiracy - it is factual and completely documented, but it will require that you actually read a book.

Once again, die thread, die.

And I'm voting for Ron Paul wink

PS Not a shot at you DanS, you just got me "fired up" rofl

I'm white, educated, and fairly liberal on most things, especially the environment and social constructs, meaning we should protect the environment and religious people should keep their idiotic rules to themselves and not try and force them on the rest of us. Fiscally I'm more to the right, but not too far.

I love my country.

If I didn't, then I wouldn't care that dip$hits like BushCorp are ruining it...or that McLame might become President and give us four or eight more years of the same crap we're getting now.

If I didn't love my country, I'd be voting for more of the same...

Fish on...

I've always wondered why a very well to do group of bakers and industrialists world wide who would like to further their mutual business interests across the world WOULDN"T figure out a way to put up a candidate each cycle for President.

I mean, if I were them................I would................. grin

The other thing I never figured out was why a perfectly plausible scenario was treated with a knee jerk tinfoil hat type of response.

''Some's gotta win...............somes gotta lose......................
Goodtime Johnny's got the blues.................''

rofl

BTW...............I'm white, not too damn bright.........poorly educated (as a liberal and public school antendee I blame the schools and my parents, in that order),.............with a low rate of retention when reading.

I am, however certain that while I will vote for Obama, Ron Paul would be my second choice.

After Bush I have a different understanding of the capability level required to be President, so experience doesn't matter that much anymore, Ron Paul would do a fine job, especially with a hostile Congress........... grin
