Anyone have any advice on where to start my scouting, narrowing down that unit at all would be great. Gonna start the scouting this weekend, thanks.

What you want to do is purchase a weyerhauser st. helens tree farm map (sunbirds sells them) and figure out the toutle unit boundaries, find the 4100 line which runs right along the So. fork of the toutle river, which I believe is the southern boundry of that unit, and start looking for open gates leading N. or N.E. away from the river, good luck!
