I'm voting Republican because...

I REALLY do think that GW Bush will be remembered as the best president we've ever had.

I BELIEVE what I hear on FoxNews, and I BELIEVE the horseshit that Rush and Hannity, and their ilk, spread.

I BELIEVE in party first, people second.

Why is crap like that even being posted, Phoenix? Besides the fact that it's [censored], it has nothing to do with the topic, either.

Feel free to make up your own reasons for thinking the above, and that Dino, his friends in the insurance industry, and his owners in the BIAW actuallly will make fishing better for you...but don't bother pretending to have clue one about why others don't buy into it...we can handle ourselves just fine, thank you.

Fish on...

Todd

like this site better when the excessive political biaaatchn stays on the life beyond fishing forum and the main board sticks to reports, pics and insights on fishing.

I am just back from a trip to North Dakota and Montana. I spent a couple of nights at thr T.R. National Monument. I had forgotten how great a conservationist T.R. was. When you consider he also took on the oligoplies, he really was a great president. The desire to protect the nations resources and the consumer has somehow escape the current batch of those who carry his parties label.

Not really, McCain has repeatedly referred to TR as a very big influence. There are plenty of people who are still skeptical about Global Climate change and more importantly, the cause of it. Now, if you agree with Gore, who wants to eliminate the use of fossil fuels completely, in ten years, what will happen to the airlines and the space program. Finally, one governor does not make national policy. I would at least find the quote and get the date of the quote. In 85- 86 time frame the best science and public spin at the time, said that women did not get AIDS.
Things change. I havent had time to research the info, but in the last few days, I started hearing about 15,000 scientist who are not on board with global warming.

I believe he said he'd like to eliminate the use of fossil fuels to generate domestic electricity, which is very different entirely eliminating the use of fossil fuels.
