Gilly,
Are you still fishing deep...200+? My first fish is going to cost me a %$#@#$ load of money with how much fuel I am burning. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Redside,
Over the last three days I didn't touch a fish with less than 70 feet out on the riggers. Most came at 100 to 150', right on or near the bottom. Even the silvers were picking our gear up down there....
I prefer to fish shallow early in the morning, but when you are consistently marking bait deep, you have to drop it down on their heads!
Good luck.

Thanks Neal. I'll keep plugging away.

Do you like to fish Jeff Head on an incoming or outgoing? Does it matter there?

I have also heard about some fish being picked up out in the shipping lanes only 60-80ft deep. These must be traveling fish????

Parker, thats good. I thought I was going to have to kill somebody smile

Redside, either tide works for me. I fish when I can, and with two young kids thats either very early, or very late.... smile The rips will form in differnent areas and the bait will get pushed around depending on the tide though...

Ive got a 1.5 dozen fresh, cut plugged herring that were alive 24 hours ago if anyone wants to swing by wedgwood and pick 'em up. Call me, Brad @ 206 949 8443. Fishing was good today although both Kings had that pesky adipose fin.

Heading out here in a few minutes to fish the flood till dark. Anybody been out yesterday or this AM? Find bait anywhere?

I have been running from Edmonds to PNP and finding bait. No keepers since the opener but several with and extra rudder. Thinking about staying closer to home but would like some intel.

Will post up results tommorow.
