and click on the Check Special Hunt Drawing Results tab, it will take you to this link...

which states "You will receive official notification by mail or email if indicated on your submittal."

According to this, it doesn't appear as if the results are ready yet.

I aint beleivin nothin till its official.

These guys that backdoor the system before its officially posted then piss and moan about how screwed up things are deserve to get screwed.

If its still screwed up afer the official notification.Then go for it.But for now just keep prayin you get that tag you want.

Yep, that would be the guy!!! Small world !!! I just got off the phone with him and he says he's looking into a film crew going along on his hunt. The tag he drew is sapose to be the best in the state. I hope he makes it count. It will be good advertisement for his business if he gets it filmed with a big time film crew.


I just hope I get a good buck in Idaho and maybe a deer or elk in WA.

It better be official. Been in for six eyars with nothing and finally got teh any bull in peaches ridge for archery. If this is B.S. someone will get an ass whoopin at WDFW......A nasty letter anyway. Any bull in the rut here I come, first time for myself.

docspud, if you want a heads up on an area to take a look at in peaches ridge let me know.

Results are in on the wdfw hunting page. Just type in wildlife id number. My son got a youth deer tag.

Any help would be great. We hunted the area when we were kids but that was twenty-five years ago but everything has changed since then. I know Milk and most of the little but I would never turn down an extra info. PM me.

Results available for special hunt drawing
OLYMPIA - Hunters who submitted applications for a 2008 special-hunt permit can check the results of this year's drawing on the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) website.
The results of the random, computerized drawing were verified July 11 and are now available for viewing at http://198.238.33.69/ .
More than 60,000 hunters submitted 134,000 applications for this year's special hunts for species including turkey, big horn sheep, mountain goat, moose, deer and elk. Holders of the special permits can hunt at times and locations beyond those authorized by a general hunting license.
In addition to posting results of the drawing on its website, WDFW will notify successful applicants by mail. Those with hunts beginning in August will also be contacted by phone.
