I saw where McCain was offering 50 bucks an hour to pick lettuce in the valley for a season, not a day mind you, but for a whole season.

I told the guys working at my local plant nursery and I thought they were going to quit before they got my truck loaded..........



But remember, 5 million a year is 'middle class', and Americans won't do 'those jobs'...................even at 50 clams an hour according to McCain...................

Ya that some meeting etc where he was trying to make a point about who will DO farm labor and who wont. I could pick lettuce for a half day at best.
I wonder what the cost of lettuce would be. You also know he was on the losing end of the border argument.
