Word has spread out around here about the fact that coyote flashers are going to be discontinued. This has made some of the good coyote colors impossible to find. My favorite color coyote is the pearl with fishscale tape, which we have not been able to find a good match in terms of color with other flasher brands. So we have opted to find a place that will custom paint flashers to make them the same color as the coyote's. Are their any good areas in the PNW that would custom paint flashers?? I figure looking for anyplace in the PNW would be a good place to start as most paint jobs would be salmon/steelhead related.

I would talk to Kelly at Silver Horde fishing tackle Co. They do alot of painting and could probably either help you or point you in the right direction.

Dang! bad news.

Silver Horde is your best bet, as Sky-Guy said.

I actually do alot of custom painting (big moby tackle). Primarily plugs and blades.

I have a large variety of paints and additives. If I have a picture or sample I can usually match it.

Food for thought. smile

Sad but true. The buyout has eliminated production of some of the favorite colors. The regional market is limited, now the larger market forces want you to buy some foriegn based crap.

I'd suggest going with a US based, custom outfit. These people have more incentive to fill the void left by the corporate bass tards (IMHO) ...
