I have been without an internets connection for a week now - the phone company had "john" from India call to say that they are aware of the problem and that even though I am in california, this is a result of damage to servers/routers from hurricane Ike.

Plan on another "do it yourself" thursday as I can't get "john" to call me back even though I referenced the work order # he gave me. Maybe I shouldn't have "suggested" that if they couldn't fix this problem I was gonna have the british come back to his country and slaughter cows on his front porch......

And no, I have not been more productive at work either!
