Lou wants to know why we don't have a candidate who will explain the debt and some basic economics to the American people, and tell them that things are going to have to be very different on all levels if we're going to make it as a nation. I guess the new candidate would hail from the "Rubber meets the Road" party...

Candidates who talk about the issues Americans should be paying attention to don't make it past the primaries, if they even get that far. Presidential elections are like voting for the next American Idol. Didn't you get the memo?

Anyone who runs for the presidency is a megalomaniac at best and I'm not sure of what they might be at worst. You might be noticing that we're between a rock and a hard place. Andy and Dan are voting for Ron Paul cuz they don't want to vote for a complete asshole. See what I mean?

If it could be explained in 20 second sound bites then yes. Other wise no. Remember that our current prez was elected on nothing. His preformance of the previous four years didn't matter to those that voted for him. He didn't know /doesn't know squat about the economy. Oh yea he stopped "Gay Marriage". Wedge issues, lipstick on pigs ect.... Joe six pack doesn't have time for facts, he/she votes with their gut. No thinking required. They like it better that way.
