Last weekend we had 6 guys and 4 kids come and help cleanup trash on the Nooksack at Nugents Corner. Thanks for your help!

The county has done a great job since they took over the boat launch there but we still pulled 50-75 lbs of trash out from up and down the river banks. We picked up and then moved up to the casino area and pulled another bunch of trash. The river banks are looking better for the time being but we can all keep a trash bag in the car and do a little this winter when we fish.

This weekend we will be at the Hwy 9 areas to start and then move up to Mosquito Lake Road. We are covering the North Fork in honer of the opening for salmon. We will meet at the upper parking lot on the North side of the Hwy 9 bridge where there is usually a ton of trash.

Saturday, October 4th @ 10:00am
Hwy 9 bridge upper parking lot, Deming.
I have trash bags and gloves.

A few of us may do a float from Mosquito to Hwy 9 and pick up trash along the way. There may be some extra spots on the boat(s). Bring your boat...it should be fun.
