I'll be taking a job in Port Angeles and my days of fishing the sled are coming to an end. This boats well known on the Skagit. It used to belong to Tom Higgins and then John Falavalito and now me. It's looking for a good home and someone that can use it.

The boat is aluminum with a wide beam, flat bottom and in good shape overall. Two years ago I rebuilt the fuel system and had a new upper end put in the motor. Since the upper end I probably have around 50-60 hours on the boat. Runs strong and reliable.

I know this boat. Higgins was a good guy...too bad about what happened to him.

Yes it is sad. I liked Tommy a lot. He had a heart of gold. Many days and many seasons behind us now.

I've moved and that's why I haven't been active for a few days now. I should have pics up tonight or tomorrow. The wifey is taking pics for me as I'm now in PA.

One of the other members asked about dimensions. I don't have accurate measurements but here's some estimates...

I’d estimate the beam to be about 6’6”. The length to the tip of the hull from the outside back edge of the stearn is 18’ 6” (if memory serves me well); the side height I’d estimate at about 2’ 10”, the draft is literally just about 8” when dead in the water at the aft portion of the stearn; when on step you don’t draw much more than about 1” of water if that. This boat moves.

Thanks for the kind words and the bump hybridcx. LOL - it's not the dark side!

It's a lotta fun! The thrill is kinda like a snow machine except on water. The real bonus is when you pass over that hole you know has a fish sitting in it... you can run back up and fish through it again - let it cool off - and come back again. It's paid off many times.

Anyway the price of gas is falling, falling, and the season is gonna start getting hot!

It's saying TIME TO BUY ME!!!
