Not sure if tomorrow is down day three or big day up day-(don't pay ANY attention to anything I am saying please). How much lower can it get? It either goes up soon or keeps on falling -in which case what will it matter? Even if it falls tomorrow then goes up the next day, still okay if you buy. But if it keeps on falling what will it really matter if you buy or sell? Either way you lose. Like I said DON'T pay ANY attention to what I am saying.

Can anyone tell me why the stock market is subject to speculation and fear as its' driving force? After the 1929 crash, the market was regulated to prevent exactly the kinds of freefall panic sell-off that is going on right now. Have "our" legislators really removed all of the safeguards? Does the stock market have anything to do with actual, long-term business performance?

Well folks the major indexes are down 40% from a year ago. Don't be fooled by dead cat bounces..we are in for some rough years ahead! The average bear market last for seven years, although the great depression skews this some. This is a great traders market but kinda bleak on investing. Good luck to all !

Asian markets are down nearly 10%, both the bond and stock markets got hammered today which happened yesterday as well. Usually they run opposite of each other, it seems like alot of money is moving under the mattress until this thing gets under control.
