This post is mainly focused on the snoqualmie sights like cherry valley and crescent lake. I understand the time you are allowed to hunt pheasants is between 8am and 4pm. The regulations then become vague when it comes to ducks. Are you allowed to hunt for ducks at these places before 8am or after 4pm.

Regardless of when you start, you'll have a bunch of yahoos within shooting distance.

I joined the yahoos this morning and had my limit in 6 minutes.

I'm pretty sure the deal is you can't hunt daybreak ducks until after they stop the pheasant release program. I think you are good to go after Thanksgiving. I haven't hunted out there since my last dog was learning to hunt (12 years ago). I did it for one season and enjoyed it until I got peppered one day. Those places are why shooting glasses were invented!

i am curious about this also, and how does one go about finding areas to duck hunt that are public, as i want to start doing more of it and working my dog also. only place i have seen is a farm on hyw2 heading to everett that has acess for sale but i am wanting to avoid having to pay for it.
