My brother in law came down with it about 15-20 years ago, I had to carry him out to the car & take him to the doc's.....

He wound up in the hospital for about a week hooked up to IV's.

In the end he came out OK, but has 2 adopted kids.

I'm not joking, hope you get it looked at, its nothing to mess with.

Got anti biotics today. Had to explain to the boss (thankfully a man) why I had to go home today.

Already snipped, so I'm not worried about anymore boys. Trust me, you don't want this. Along the lines of a kidney stone in pain, but they didn't give me any morphine. Getting old ain't for wimps. Lonnie was right.

Good luck, Andy. Those antibiotics should get you back to a reasonable level of comfort level in a couple days.

Cool, glad your on it. My BIL was one hurtin unit for sure, & he is as tough as they come.

Been there, but with kidney stones three times. That never ending robogrip nut pain is a bitch.

Moved a bunch of 1.25" thick plywood Monday, 9 sheets, about 150 feet. Along with a bunch of 2x4's and 2x6's.That was probably the cause. Clean as a whistle.

Getting ready to build some work benches. I've been able to scrounge enough wood from the construction site to build about seven 8'x30" work benches. Looks like I'll wait a few days before any more heavy lifting.

Yow! Never heard of that, but it sounds really bad. Don't know about the medical effects of M&Ms, but I heard the green ones make ya' horny. Seems the doc could have at least prescribed some morphine to go with the wine to take you to a happy place away from all the pain. Next time have one of the kids help you pack the lumber and plywood; that's part of what they're for. 1.25" ply, now that's gonna' make some nice benches.

That heavy ply is just a nightmare to move around. Just about killed myself moving 4 sheets to the second floor on my house. I had the old snipperee right before x-mas myself.

Hopefully you get back to normal, maybe it's just your body telling you that you've pushed it a little too hard with those long weeks? Use the break to re-design a bunch of stuff.
