Running through the tunnel filled with smoke towards the end of January after the season is over is not exactly like running onto the field with the team during PRE-GAME introductions. Just a little of a stretch if you ask me.

Is there a reward if I call in this violation to the Pac 10?

This is way too easy. Okay, they already have the smoke, but where are the mirrors? Would offering recruits free steelhead trips be a violation? Just a thought.....

Some of the recruits said they were simulating the LSU game durng their official visit. Others said they got personalized jerseys. Then dawgman edited the stories to try to cover it up.

Kevin Greene a recent USC recruit said he got a personalized jersey with his name on it.

Ole Miss had similar violations a couple of years ago and was put on probation.

Even if it was a violation who cares. Sark just needs to sit down with the investigators and say, "Hey, that's what we did with every recruit to USC." Which, of course, means everything is cool!

You guys seem to have forgotten Don James and the circumstances of his departure.

The circumstances of his departure were that his sackless AD didn't stand up for him against a bunch of bullsh!t trumped-up charges about fruit baskets and such.

And when I say "sackless", I mean that in more ways than one.

I'm sure every coach walks the thin line while recruiting.....WSU included.

But....I can't but feel sorry for this Trufant kid....I've got to give him the benefit of the doubt, that he did not realize he was throwing UW football under the bus, and still verbally commit. I bet he feels bad....

Congrats on landing Desmond....hopefully he makes better choices in the future.

The recruiting violations continue. Sarkisian had a meeting with 3 football players in Watts with a reporter and one of the teamates was a junior. The 5 star player is a QB/DE who is committed to USC. They are trying to package the deal with a 3 year senior and get the 5 star to go to UW. I'm okay with NW teams trying to poach players from SC or other southern Pac 10 teams. However Sark should know the rules. Why do I care? Because I'm a taxpayer in WA and I don't want to see another Weasel fiasco.

More recruiting violations at UW

Secondary violations.

No one cares, especially if they make the paper.

He's a rookie coach. He's expected to make some minor secondary violations.

Kinda like crying over spilt milk.

Slap his hand, tell him to stop it, and move on to more important NCAA violations by other teams (USC, etc).
