Why a trade? What don't you like about the pole?

My father is a professional rod builder. (Just his hobby) He builds rods for rod and tackle shops,and guides here on the south coast of OR. Lots of Rogue guides and cental Oregon fly fishermen. The majority of the rods he builds are pre-sold rods. Rods that people ask him to build, he doesn't advertise.

Sometimes we get rods that people pay the deposit and then descide for one reason of another they don't want the rod. Other times guides order a boat full of rods and then only want 5 of the 6. etc.

We have sold 10 of these rods this winter and decided to order an extra the last time he placed an order. It was just going to be an extra for my boat.
This is just my fathers hobby, and he got busy with pre sold rods. So I didn't get it built until mid March.

$250 for a brand new IMX STR 1084C is hell of a deal. I put trade on the ad just to see what I would get?
