The problem with the Cougs is the same as the rest of the Pac-10. The first 5 might match up ok but the Huskie's are 9-10 deep while the Cougs are only 5-6 deep. Might be a close game for 30 minutes but the Dawgs will run away with it in the end!!!!!

9-10? dude that is UW math at its finest...8 tops Starters: Brockman Gant Pondexter IT Detmon Bench: Overton Holiday Turner Bryan-Amening That would be a grand total of 9 players, of which, against ASU, MBA had the fewest minutes at 9. Pondexter led the Huskie's with a whopping 36 minutes. ASU on the other had six players over 22 min, four over 38 min, with two other scrubs (under 5 min) only getting playing time AFTER the two leaders fouled out. My math is just fine son. We leave Wallace in reserve in case we have fouls to give late!

Ah the problem here is I really have no ground to fight from seein as my boys got swept by both WA schools...the best part is the real season is yet to come for ASU/UW and WSU is playing for the 65th place championship...go get em.

I'd be surprised if the Dawgs don't beat the Goob's by 8-12 points...and that the game won't really be as close as the 8-12 point victory will look like on paper...it'll be over with 3 or 4 minutes to play.
Not only can the Huskies outscore the Cougs by a pretty significant margin, but they can out defense them even better...and like BB said above, the Huskies have at least 7 "starter quality" players, with two or three more guys who would be valuable "sixth men" on most other other teams...there's not a lot of drop off when they sub a few guys out for a breather.
More importantly, at the end of the game when fouls are being dealt out the Huskies have still got good players with fouls to give...one dude fouls out from the Coug lineup and they may as well be playing with four...
