I've prospered and thrived in a socialist system for almost 30 years now, so I'm a little ambivalent concerning the fears of those like Dewbie. I'm wondering, though, what other countries, other than the US, do not have some sort of socialist-type support for its citizens? And of those countries, how many have sound economies right now?

Effective 1 Apr 2009, those that were in the 25% tax bracket can welcome themselves to the 28% bracket. Hope your "stimulus" covers that. Hankster! We also get the new state sales tax increase on April 1st. I'm so stoked
