Scumbags is too kind a term. As a matter olf fact, I'm so pissed off at these guys that I can't even think of an appropriate term. Well maybe...

Check the pictures and you will see them for what they are...a bunch of in-bred square-headed thugs with sh#t for brains.

They got off WAY too lightly but will hopefully rue the personal visits we pay them!

At least the ringleader lost his hunting and fishing privilages for life. I'm pretty sure all the western states have reciprical agreements with WA so he's screwed out of his favorite past times. Dude also lost his nursing license.
These guys rarely if ever get time so 13 mos isn't too shabby.
Putting the shock collar on the dog's nuts made me squirm. I don't know how the under cover guy was able to hold back from sculling the guy.
Didn't care for the dynamiting of fish too much either.

Problem I see with them losing their hunting priveldges is that they didn't seem to care about the law before, what is going to keep them from just poaching away again? ?
I have some ideas, I don't think that WA state would go for that though.
Sure would be hard to squeeze the trigger with no f'n fingers .. . . ... .

Now turkey poachers, we have something special for them, no amputaion, just a hockey stick ! ! moose

Come on now Rocket. They should have full mating privelidges while in the state pen. I hope they are mated with every night. Maybe we could issue his cellmate a shock collar to try on him.

Thats is awsome to finally see some strict enforcement of poaching laws. I am a firm believer that rules need to be enforced if they exist. They got what they deserved, although I wish it were a tad bit steeper penalty. The bad part of this is more negative press for Washington hunters. This reinforces the stereotype that has been set by the anti hunting crowd in Washington. The poachings in Anacortes, the kid who thaught the lady was a bear, and the "killem all boys". Those are the stories that gulable stereotypers are hearing, associating with hunting, and warping their mind out of our favor.

Considering how friggin' stupid these guys are in the first place, it wouldn't surprise me, either, if they continued to poach. But they better take this little matter into consideration; the penalties for a felon (who may not legally possess a firearm) committing another felony while in possession of a firearm, regardless of poaching or bank robbery, are the same.

Unfortunately I know the "ring leader" but am pleased to say he was never a friend. I used to work for a private ambulance company and he came over here as a paramedic from Idaho (he lost his paramedic certification shortly after). He used to tell all sorts of stories about his "hunts" and was also a big time snagger all around SW WA, he used to brag about how he was teaching the fish "how to swim backwards". He also stole his best friends wife while his "friend" was rehabilitating from a fractured femur, had sex with underage girls etc.... There's alot more to this story then what has come out I'm sure, I just hope his new roomate is treating him the way he deserves to be treated. Theres more in his "statement of charges" file on the dept of health website https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/providercredentialsearch/ProviderDetail_1.aspx?CredentialIdnt=303966#
particularly disturbing is the charges regarding minor children.
