Up for sale is our beautiful recreation property near Hood Canal. The lot is located in the community of Colony Surf, a few miles north of Lilliwaup, Washington. Colony Surf is a small community that features a clubhouse with an olympic size swimming pool, recreation area with pool and ping pong tables, basketball and tennis courts and miles of hiking trails. Ownership also gives you access to Hood Canal at Colony Surf's private beach/launch ramp area. You will quickly find yourself in the midst of some of the finest recreational opportunities around. Shrimp, Dungeness Crabs, clams and oysters are all available in the Canal and highly productive areas can be found just minutes from the Colony Surf beach area.

Colony Surf also features a small but beautiful lake with a very nice beach and picnic area. You can canoe, kayak, swim or just lounge around the lake and soak up the abundant summertime sunshine.

The property itself is a very nice corner lot with ALL UTILITIES! Septic, power and water are all installed and ready for use. The property features a half circle driveway and a large gravel area for RV parking. We had a 36' x 20' metal building on the gravel but it was damaged by the recent snowfall. The building appears in some of the pictures, but it no longer exists. The site is ideal for people looking for a great weekend getaway that is close to Seattle/Tacoma or Olympia. It is about an hour north of Olympia on Highway 101.

The site is set up for RV use, but could very easily become a nice homesite for your dream getaway. This is a great investment in one of the few under valued areas left in Washington State.

THE CARPORT IN THE PICTURES IS NO LONGER ON THE PROPERTY. THERE ARE NO BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES ON THE PROPERTY.
PRICE REDUCED OVER $10,000!!!

Price is $49,000/obo

Soon to be unemployed so price is negotiable.

We are willing to consider owner financing.

What are the neighbors like?

Are there houses next door? Like close by?

I see there are some advertised "double lots" in this community for about $17k. They don't have septic on them but the utilities are at the street.

Besides septic what does your lot have that these don't?

Thanks.

Fish Bear- Most of the "double lots" are not cleared or usable without considerable work. Most of them are also on the bottom of the big hill leading into the community which is considered a far less desirable area than where my lot is located. No septic, utilities at the road and overgrown with brush/timber = big bucks to make it usable. I'm not saying there aren't good deals to be found, but they will all require a considerable investment of time and money to make them usable. I'm looking for someone that doesn't want to deal with all that and is looking for something that is ready for use. Hope that helps a little...

Dave - You do have beach rights at the "Colony Surf Beach Area", but in reality there is very little shellfish harvesting to be had directly on the beach access area. You can find a limit of oysters, but clams are hard to come by. It is primarily a launch ramp for small boats heading out to crab/shrimp/fish or cruise. The productive shellfish areas are mostly north near Dosewallips and Duckabush. We usually launch the boat and all of our gear and then head up to harvest shellfish via the boat. It sure beats packing a geoduck tube down the beach! Makes for an enjoyable boat ride for the kids as well.

Sorry for the late responses...I was out of town for the weekend.

Just came across your ad for your lot in Colony Surf. We are going to be near there next week and would like to check it out if still available.

Thanks.
