Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a kicker motor for my 18' Alumaweld Intruder. Prefer 8-15 HP Merc or Honda. I know there was a recent posting for a kicker on this board last month so I'm not expecting to hear much. Appreciate any tips you might have.

I have a couple of them, what year and price range are you looking at?

Generally something under 10 years old and in good condition. Reliability is a primary concern which is why I favor Mercury. Obviously I'm looking for a good deal, but price will depend on make, model, age, condition, etc. So let me know whatcha got and we can discuss online or off.

Wow, everyone seems to be holding on to their outboards these days? Looks like I need to start checking prices for new motors. Stevens Marine down in Portland seems to be pretty competitive on price. Anyone have other suggestions on where to look for a new 8HP Merc (long shaft)?

STEVENS MARINE IS AWSOME THEY CAN MAKE A BETTER DEAL ON BOATS OR MOTORS THAN ANYBODY CAN UP HERE ITS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE I JUST DID IT!!!
