There used to be a springtime fishery in Georgia strait for immature coho's. These 12"-18" little guys were called bluebacks here in B.C. This fishery dissapeared in the mid 1980's when whatever was left of the little guys went out to the west coast of Van.isle instead of living their short lives in the inside waters.

I always thought a blueback was a Canadian Illegal Alien living in the US.

I could be mistaking a blueback for a Kokanee.

I used to fish the streams around Willipa Bay and those guys called Sea-Runs "Bluebacks" as well.

Parker...don't flatter yourself. As I stated when you "supposedly" lost your skunk with bob: "If you lose the skunk with Bob, steelheading around forks, it DOESN'T count." Well, springer fishing with Keith is pretty much the same. It doesn't count when you go with someone that good. You were just taking a position in the boat (btw when do I get to take one of those positions smile ).

So, technically, you are still skunked for springers!

lol

So, what you are telling me is that I have to fish with *you* to get this skunk streak off of me?

rofl

Assume the position, Scott. Assume the position.
