i hate lami's for that reason and the warrentie service blows, my buddie found that out first hand when we were down there the other day.

but they make my favorite rod 9'6" 8-12 certified pro. i do like the xmg's too but havent owned one yet.

my loomis noodle rod has a big crooked stop in it right at the ferrel. it wont ever affect the rod though, you will never get enough pressure fighting a fish to bust that rod in that location.

i still want a 13' loomis noodle rod, never seen one forsale anywhere at all either built or blank. and i wont settle for one of those float rods or new centerpin rods that are way over priced
