Cleanin' up for that RivTech photo op, Ripley? Geez, for a moment there it looked like you finally took a razor to tame all that funk on your face.... for an instant I even thought maybe it was Sparkey posin' than platinum hen.

But then I noticed you just wrapped the whole gangly mess in an elastic band.

BTW, nice fish T-Rip.

And Rico, you sure get around to see some fishy-a$$ places. Must be fun bein' you! Thanks for the pic parade! beer

There are lot of people that are very brand loyal, I would love the oppertunity to discuss different process in fiberglass boat manufacturing.

There are many nice fiberglass driftboats out there but none of them are Vacuum Infused except RivTech Driftboats. There are many benefits to Vacuum Infusion, No voids between the layers, Much better glass to resin ratio, Less weight and much stronger.

Supcoop, that hole didnt put out anything this year for me but everytime I went past I got that feeling something good should happen.

Here's a few more shots of the Riv-tek. Here you get a good idea of what the profile looks like in the water. It's a sleek design:

"dead squirrel pasted to his chin" rofl

Though it's not a dead squirrel, its a beer can proximity sensor.

Like cats use their whiskers to see if they can fit into an opening, Rippers, well, you just fill in the blanks rofl

Kinda weird, but KK, the known fly flicker that he is, put the whippy stick down, started slinging gear like he meant it, and what do ya know?????????????????? The dude had some gear skills, not only did he cast well, but he caught well. Yep, that's right, that fly flickin' dude caught some nice fish lately, ALL on gear. RVFSHR spoons to be exact.

Exactly three of my flyflinging friends decided they'd rather actually catch a fish this spring and were carefully handed a few spoons...the rest, as they say, is history...now they're all "spoon experts"...just ask 'em smile

Fish on...

Todd

Since there are few photos of RivTech on this thread, I'll add a few more.

Fishinfool, Todd and KK.

Oh and Todd introduced me to Rvrfshr spoons but I'm far from being a spoon expert. smile

When you start using them RVFSHR spoons, and start catching fish, you may become a spoon expert, but I actually looked it up in the RVFSHR Thesaurus and you really become a spoonspert. Just ask KK, he is now a spoonspert. The Doc tried to become a spoonspert, but the Grays Harbor delayed hook set left a few fish available for other people to fight. One day Mr. Skysteelhead, you too will be a spoonspert. But for now, you are just really good at everything else.

No spoonspert here........................just a hucker of bent metal.

Nice to meet you on the river Skysteel, but really, you need to find a less questionable fishing partner than the ne'er do well who was in your boat that day.

So today...
I ordered couple bundles of Rvrfshr 50/50's to help empower me to become a spoonspert in the near future. grin

I suspect it will not take you long to become a spoonspert Sky, especially given the fact that it took KK only one day. Summerrun, now that guy is a spoonspert too. Although, the best way to become a spoonspert is to go to The Church of Todd.

Spoonspert huh??? Naw, im not in the realm of the 10% ers yet but I believe I did not miss one RVRFSHR spoon fish this spring, 6 fer 6 if my math is correct. When they hit em there is no guess work, no slack bites no BS...just slam the hookset and hang on.

I have the disease and am going to work my ass off to get into the 10% by this time next year, its all steel all year cept for a break or two to put some salmon in the freezer...although the bug rod will get broken out this summer and up north this fall. Good times for sure and I have to thank the Ripster, Rico, Stam and many others for helping me learn a ton of the little details and improve my gear fishing immensely the past few months...cheers
