Going to be staying out at my friend's cabin on Gendey (Hat) Island out of Everett this weekend and was wondering what the fishing options are out there. We will be from the bank, any ideas? Thanks

Light spinning rod, 1/4 ounce chrome kastmaster or small rapala, and fish the afternoon incoming for catch and release sea run cutthroat and dolly varden, or as mentioned gather piling worms under the rocks at low tide and fish under a float, about halfway in the water column, for pile pearch at hightide. Did this as a kid while growing up on Camano, plenty of action.

Good Luck,

BD

There's a small lake on the island that has bass and panfish in it too if the salt thing isn't happenin'.
