The fact of the matter here is,,, there is a perceived problem. Many think that something needs to be done about holding detainees at Guitmo. At this point, how the problem was created is irrelevant. The solution should be what matters. President Obama said he was going to "fix" that problem but he doesn't have a "fix" for that problem and his own party won't support him. So,,, what the hell does Bush have to do with this topic? The issue here is that Obama spews out all this warm fuzzy crap, with absolutely no f in clue how to bring said crap to fruition!
I believe the title of this thread is "Big feel good talk, no plan" you should know better then to insult the messiah. no matter what he does, they will have something that they feel bush did worse to change the subject....

When you're cleaning up someone else's mess, that someone else and how they caused the mess is part of the issue.
When Obama creates his own mess, then it'll be his problem...his to own, not just clean up.

Of the 1 in 7 who was released joined up with Al Qaeda or the Taliban, I wonder how many were never terrorists to begin with, but after being waterboarded for 14 months signed up as soon as they could?
That would be an interesting thing to know.

By what evidence do we know that the 3 who were waterboarded were terrorists? What crime(s) were they convicted of, and it what court of competent jurisdiction? Sg

Todd There ya go looking back again. I thought it was about the "future"! You remember don't you? "change". Well change requires a plan and Obama doesn't have one! I stand by what I said. How the problem was created is irrelevant to the solution. So whats best for the country? Maybe it is time to STFU and do something. But the lefties don't want to move forward. Why would they? Like I said, all they have to do when they get in a tight spot is blame it on Bush. If the lefties want to roll around in this swill, hoping all the while, that this course of action will stomp out the remaining embers that are the Republican party, then they are gonna miss the boat.

I have a simple answer to the claim that torture doesn't work......ask McCain. I believe he made it pretty clear during his campaign, in case you all missed it. But he has a book out that will clear it up as well.
Fault finding does not solve anything. Any stupid people willing to step up and blame someone else for forging their signature to their upside down loan? And I would say that those stupid people have brought about a whole lot more grief than GITMO.
If you care so much about people than couldn't give a crap less about you or yours, bless you......just don't ask me to care with you.
