The new artists are good and I like most of it but the old timers play country without the rock influence.

i can't stand that crap being put out right now. it's remarkably similar to rap music -- you take some talentless hack and he sings about how much more "country" and "blue collar" he is than you(rather than how "gangsta" they are), and they make millions.

the only country i'll listen to is guys like johnny cash, hank williams sr, etc. that new stuff is in the same league as nickleback.
