Question is..................why does our culture consume so much of everything, especially 'intoxicants' in a binge fashion, when other cultures can seem to do their consumption in a more moderate manner ?
What are you comparing our culture to? African bushmen that are in tribes? Mongolians? A lot of cultures consume intoxicants very much on par with the US.

In Texas it would have to be 14, same as the age is for consenual sex with your cousin.....................  ............. Elsewhere likely same as drinking age, 21 or lose the Highway funds from the feds............. marijuana is illegal? why have a legal age, it's already called a "high way"
