A friend has an old Evinrude Fastwin longshaft which she thinks is an early '50's 15 hp. I checked online for info or a value ubt not much luck. She is considering selling it to buy an electric motor for her daughter's 14' sailboat.
Yea, I know - why do you want a motor on a sailboat-what are the sails for? As most of the sailing is in Sequim Bay, the tide makes it difficult for her to get back to the dock at times.

Hey Sol,

That's the price I figured. Anna, the young lady that owns the boat, is working this summer so she's saving her money to buy a Minn Kota saltwater motor.
Maybe she should just buy some oars. Cheaper and she's not afraid of hard work. She used an industrial grinder for about three straight hours to get the barnacles off and prep for bottom paint.
