Does anyone have a contact for Folbe's. I have two in my drifter and need two more (drano fishing). I need a rail mount and a pedestal mount with an extension so I can mount one in the middle of my fly deck for the third rod holder when backtrolling. Got them at the Portland expo last year for about $26 and trying to get the same deal. Anyone...anyone...Bueller.... ~steelymann~
Doc - I know you have these also. I love them and need more. Hook a brotha up please!

Only eight in the powerboat and two in the drifter so far... I like putting spare mounts all over the place so you can move them around as needed. They really are the best rod holder on the market IMHO.

got mine from outdoor emporium, but you may have some luck at Fisherman's in PDX. call first, because his distribution is pretty local. I had to get a misc. part for mine and just bought from the company direct. they are great products and excellent customer care.

Scotty extentions can be used with Folbe rod holders. I use them on my downrigger booms and it sure makes using those rod holder a lot easier.

Phoenix, using the Scotty extensions do you have one side where the holder opens towards the stern? Is there a way to turn it around so both open forward?

I am about two miles from the boat right now and I too lazy to drive and check, but if I remember correctly since there are what I call teeth on both sides of the extention attachment you can have it open however you want it to open.

"teeth on both sides..." That's the part I was wondering about. I have Scotty extensions, but they only have teeth on one side so the rod holder on my starboard downrigger opens aft, which I don't like.
