We are heading that direction next week and was wondering if anyone knows what flies to bring for this time of year. I plan on mostly sticking to the smaller tributary streams east of Grangeville, Id and have never fished there before.

Always did well up that way with Stimulators on the surface. Big enough to easily see and can imitate a lot things. Weighted rubber legs under an indicator in the deep pools work well. Good luck.

You might try some golden stone patterns as well. I am not sure about that area exactly but they are out on some of the other rivers.
