COLUMBIA, S.C. — A South Carolina man was charged with having sex with a horse after the animal's owner caught the act on videotape, then staked out the stable and caught him at shotgun point, authorities said Wednesday.

But this wasn't the first time Rodell Vereen has been charged with buggery. He pleaded guilty last year to having sex with the same horse after owner Barbara Kenley found him in the same stable and was sentenced to probation and placed on the state's sex offender list.

Kenley said she noticed several weeks ago her 21-year-old horse Sugar was acting strange and getting infections again. She noticed things in the barn had been moved around – dirt piled up and bales of hay stacked near the horse's stall at her Lazy B Stables in Longs, about 20 miles northeast of Myrtle Beach

I would guess that he was charged, because in S C it's illegal to have sex with horses. Some people, I will assume, don't think a crime was committed here, and feel that what happens in the stable should stay in the stable. This case was different than Enumclaw . This one had intervention before a fatality and it was hetro Man Beast non consensual. Enumclaw was consensual homo Man Beast and fatal. The S C event suggests that the horse would probably have died from human diseases if it was not stopped.

So I would assume there are plenty reason "why" charges were filed and a warrant was served.

Serial horse-shagger Rodell Vereen was charged with buggery and trespassing again… while on probation for buggering the same horse.

The horse’s owner, Barbara Kenley, owns the “Lazy B Stables” in Conway, SC. The bad-ass, shotgun bearing Ms. Kenley caught Vereen with his pants down and in the middle of a tender moment with Sugar, Barbara’s 21-year-old horse. Vereen was jailed for shagging Sugar back in 2007, and Ms. Kenley thought that Sugar’s troubles were over when he was convicted.

Not so. Surveillance cameras, installed after Sugar was assaulted the first time, revealed a human-on-horse act in the stables on July 19th. Sugar’s unwelcome Romeo was indeed back. Kenley alerted police, but the police were unable to identify Sugar’s attacker in the CCTV footage. Kenley knew, however, that Vereen would be unable to stay away, and this time she was ready.

Kenley describes confronting the man who defiled her filly:

“I wanted to catch him firsthand,” she said. “It was just a matter of time before I caught him.”

When Kenley pointed a shotgun at Vereen, he claimed to be looking for a bathroom.

“I told him he was full of crap,” Kenley said. “He apologized and said he didn’t mean to hurt me.”
