i hav a coumpound bow and was woundering if the arrow goes above or below the bead on the pull back string.

You mean the nocking point? I'd like to think that the nock of an arrow rests on top of this bead (nocking point).

Had to look that one up.

Shows you what I know about compound bows. Nothing.

Arrow goes below the bead. I learned something new today!

Should go below the nock point. If your not sure of the alignment you should check it with a bow square. Go to a bow shop and they will fix you up. If you havent shot it for a while it might be a good idea to check the tiller and make sure both cams are tensioned properly.
