Wow. There is no way that will go through. I did not even know they were that far along. Some judge will stop it before it happens. Nice to see people excited about it though. Hope they take a few before the greenies judge shop and block it.

With the stronghold they have now,the Wolves will be tough to whittle back and will educate amazingly fast.
The boys will slick up a few, then they'll disappear.

I'm all for it and it will be good for the boys to get out and try to vent a little.
The connect percentages are going to wane in non lineal fashion, once pressure is applied.
They are greasy bastards.

We saw one yesterday on the way home from Coeur d'Alene. At first I thought it was a big dog that was roaming the ditch next to the highway. So I point it out to my wife and as I'm pointing it out I get a good look at 15 feet and about 50 mph. No collar, tall, long hair, unmistakable ears and I think no way, is that a wolf. Then my wife says coyote. I said, no way, to big to be a coyote, I think its a wolf. Then it hops out of the ditch as we drive by and stands in the road. Rear view mirror shot pretty much confirmed it. The way it walked and moved looked "wild" to me. Still could have been somebody's dog that resembled a wolf but I dont think so. Pretty cool to see. Somebody will "slick" that one for sure. Plenty of residents around there just chompoing at the bit I'm sure.

They've got it pretty good now, free to do as they please,when/where they please.
I'll not be suprised if the Season is put on hold, due to some asinine legal ploy.

52 in one Winter,is the best I've heard of in SE.
That's nearing a "bunch",if not squarely there.
Humper's Woof is the biggest I've ever seen.

I thought the civilized world gave up leghold traps years ago. I trapped for years, about 50 years ago, but got over it. Think it's an OK way to kill animals, but that the trapper should spend a relaxing day or two in a leghold trap, just to get the feel of the experience. BTW, I have no problem with the Idaho wolf hunt as it is planned. I think it could be good for both hunters and wolves. Just wonder why it isn't scheduled later, when trophy pelts would be prime.

I woke up this morning and that news story was on the radio. The reporter gave the caliber and yardage information of the kill. Thats awsome.........only in the Inland Northwest would you get that kind of news covergae on a morning radio news cast.

Humper's Woof is the biggest I've ever seen. Let me get to a scanner. I have my buddy with 97 wolf hides on the barn. (All one season)

Prolly 90% of the wolves caught in the pics were in snares. They don't photograph well that way though. Not real a real soothing experience either but the sufferin don't last as long.
