What’s nice about this boat is the low fuel consumption. Gas prices are going to go back up. But this boat will get you onto as many fish at a fraction of the costs of the larger sleds. Max speed with just me in the boat is about 20 mph. Nice cruising speed.

I’ve taken this boat everywhere: including the Columbia, Astoria, and to the jaws of Tillamook Bay. Fishes great on the Clackamas, my home river. I just ran up the river from Riverside about a mile with the level at 1000 cfs. 20+ ft. sled? I doubt it. Another nice thing about this boat is it is light weight. I tow it with my Subaru Legacy Wagon so no need for a gas guzzling truck/SUV.
