So, my buddy moved back over here from Pullman. He hunted over there and didn't hit anything. So, it is my job to take him out over here in Western WA. I have some main places I like to go but I saw a little buck a few times over the summer in area 633 the peninsula area. I have read the regs and there is a firearm restriction SOUTH of Hammersley Inlet.
I just want to get a second and third and forth opinion that if we use his 270 on the peninsula side of 633 that that is completely legal. I called the Mason county Sheriff and they didn't know and i can't get ahold of anyone that knows at the WDFW. They just ready the regs to me and tell me to make the legal decision. Kind of screwy if you ask me. PM me if you would prefer. We are going on thursday morning so ASAP would be great. Thanks for your help.

North of Hammersly Inlet and he is good to go, unless there is a local municipality that has recently enacted any no-shooting zones.

within mason county anything east of hwy. #101 to the town of shelton and all of hartsteine island, north of shelton is a firearm restriction area. I saw a guy hunting with a crossbow over the weekend. Have fun plug puller.

I should add its pretty much all walk in this year, gates are locked due to increased vandalism and theft.

Are all Green Diamond gates closed? I have wanted to hunt in some of their areas, but I don't like hunting spots you can drive in.
