A little bit of rain never hurt anyone.
But a whole ....... bunch can kill you!

Glad I made it out there before the river went. It seemed the harder it rained and blew yesterday, the more willing the coho were! I think I need an automatic bailing pump in the driftboat.

LOL Reminds me of 1996. Scrambling like a looter to the WSLCB store and 4 of us bringing out an armload each and making it back before the highway closed. 4 couples cooped up in a house for 3 days straight with a few decks of cards and a lot of mixer. Passing out on top of each other.
The 90's sure were fun!

3 1/4" in my rain guage since yesterday afternoon(Montesano). It is an absolute DELUGE as I type this. Then, the fun begins tonight around 10 when the sustained 50+ mph winds kick in.

Generator full of gas......check.
Power cords ready........check.
Candles ready..............check.
Matches/flashlight.........check.
Cell phone alarm
to wake up in morning.....check.
Whiskey & Coke in
good supply..................check.

Hope everyone comes through it one piece!

Just strting to go into overdrive now ... wind has been light from the NE for a few hours, now back to normal big blow SE direction and the screens are rattling. The rain went from heavy, to a solid sheet of water smile

Got the fire & big screen going and the dog at my feet ... Corey, U didn't read the last part wink

Just tested the genset here and topped off on gas @ Costco. Seems like we lose power on each major storm here in Woodinmilf these days.

Stay safe out there on the coast, looks like a pretty good blow.

Buddy in Tokeland is recording 45-50 sustained with gusts to 70.

Hoping his newly shingle-sided house doesn't look like a power-washed platinum coho in the morning!

Pretty tame here right now, light rain and very little wind, but it must be warm and raining up high because the river has come up far more than predicted. Had to hook a strap on the jet boat and just pull it up into the yard to above the high tide mark.

I'm doing fine, but man did we have a big blow for a couple hours last night, one tree broke half way up and down she came. We've had no power since 10 last night, so down here at the 1504 coffee shop I sit to drink my coffee and read a little internet. I'll swing by your place and check on all your new debris I'm sure you have laying in the yard.
